Preview of one of my sketch cards for the upcoming set Once Bitten by Asylum Studios

Asylum studios has an upcoming set entitled Once Bitten : the art of the Vampiress. Basically a bunch of sexy vampire chicks..lol. Im only allowed to show a few of the cards that i did, until the set releases. I chose to mix up my styles for this one and did some cartooney, some comic, & some semi-realism...this card is one of the more realistic ones.

copic markers & colored pencil.

Abraham - Artwork for the walking dead trading card set ( comic book)

So, no time to edit my progress on some of my walking dead cards, gotta leave something for the sketchbook! Heres a drawing of Abraham ( one of my favorite badasses from the comic book) walking away with a machete in hand. Copic markers. This was done for the trading cards set " The walking Dead the comic book 2" i know, how original. This set will be out in a few days & I have some Ap's available! get yours while they last!

The Undead - Z-sketch card for Comicon

Here is Sketch card # 16 that's going to be featured in the " Worlds Of Fantasy" trading card set that will be sold at New York Comicon. I'm doing a total of twenty sketch cards & one base card. I have to wait for approval before I post them. The interesting thing about these cards is that they unfold to display a larger sketch. They are called z-sketch cards. so on the upper right hand corner is the front of the card & the lower left hand corner is the back with the signature. The rest of it folds up like a map. I've included two pics, one is just the card front & the other is the entire sketch, unfolded.

I used copic multiliners & markers for the majority of these cards.

Happy Zombie Friday!!!!

Another Zombie, I sketched this one out & did an ink wash watercolor style on him. Going to do some blood red spots of color for detail!

How 'bout a zombie today?

I said a monster today, so how about a nice zombie, haven't drawn one of those in a while. First inked with whatever pens I had layin around, then I realized that I over did some areas & needed to add some color tp make it pop, so used some copics. This is the stuff that I really enjoy drawing, not too much overthinking, no references just going with the flow. I actually havent inked anything in a while....I mean really detailed inking, so this was fun & it reminded me of how much I like it. Also showed me that I'm a little rusty, so expect a few more of these, but hopefully they'll come out better. HAPPY FRIDAY!
