"The Happy Soldier" Another Sketch done on Tan Toned paper.... I really like drawing on this stuff, really makes your sketches pop.

5x7- pencil, ink, marker, gouache, and colored pencil.

Squid Boy!!!

Another Copic marker sketch, did all the skin tones with warm greys, tentacles were neutral greys & eyes cool greys. The background is kinda screwed, I was testing out copic's airbrushing system....works well for smooth background elements, only very light use, not very precise, but can give you the illusion of wide coverage on bigger pieces..anyway, this one was fun to do, I love the smooth gradation you can get with copics!
