A couple of beyond stokers Dracula sketch cards for cult stuff.

Nosferatu

Bloody vamp

It's funny, I only did 15 cards for this set because I had two other card sets due at the same time, which I had signed up for well in advance to this one. I wasn't really concerned with what I was drawing & just focused on doing quick sketches, and these cards were the most fun to do, Because I wasn't overthinking it.

2.5x3.5 inch, copic markers.

"Andrea Being Attacked" artwork for the walking dead comic book trading card set.

Another one of my walking dead andrea cards for the comic book trading card set. This one is of her being attacked by the serial killer in the jail( cant remember his name). This is the scene where Andrea gets her left cheek slashed & Rick beets the crap out of the dude who did it, until his hand is all mangled. It helps define rick as a character. This is where he starts to loose it & realize screw humans, they're more f'd up than the walkers. Also where andrea gets her signature facial scar. Done in copic markers.

Walking dead The Comic Book Sketch Card for the trading card set - Michonne

Can you tell, I did a bunch of Michonne's for the set. I'd have to say, Michonne, Rick, Tyreese, and abraham were my favorite characters & the most fun to draw...so you'll see a bunch of those cards! This one is of Michonne swiping off a walkers head with her sword! 2.5 x3.5 inch - copic markers.

The Walking Dead The Comic Book Audition Sketch Cards, Rick & Tyreese

Its almost Time, "The walking Dead Comic Book 2" trading card set is coming out in a few weeks....so its time to start showing them off! I'm going to start off by posting a few of my audition sketch cards. Yes....every artist had to submit 4 audition sketch cards in order to be qualified to work on the set.The cards were then approved by the art directors at which point you were sent the rest of the cards.

Here are two of mine, Rick & Tyreese I think the Tyreese card is one of my favorites from the set. For that card I chose to do the seen where he had been locked in the gym of the prison and everyone had given him up for dead, but when they returned he was standing around in a pile of bodies because he had killed every single walker in there. That was the moment in the comic when I realized tyreese was truly a badass thus becoming one of my favorite characters.

I had a ton of fun working on the set, by far one of the best to work on. I did a total of 80+ cards. These two were done with the usual copic markers also added some splattering with acrylic. In my opinion, the audition cards weren't that great, the cards definitely got better as I went a long & loosened up.....But I do love the Tyreese one....wish I could get that one back! I'll be receiving 9 Artist proof blanks for commissions, two of which are spoken for.

"They Made Me Do It" Bombshells sketch card.

Here we have the last of my bombshells sketch cards that I've done for the set, the only ones I have left to post now are the AP commissions.

This ones a little different than all my other cards, less sexy & more demented and dark. I just wanted to draw a Psycho chick with an axe...LOL. I wrote " They made me do it" in red acrylic in the back. This is one of my favorites, because I tend to gravitate toward the horror genre.

she's up on ebay for 40$ right now - check it out!

Bye!

The Ritual

I forgot to post this little number when I was posting the rest of my Sketch cards for breygent marketing's "worlds of fantasy" set. So here she is. This was my base card (or printed trading card) to be part of the normal set. This card was actually converted to a 3d lenticular card, which turned out pretty cool, but it scans horribly, so I've decided to post the normal version.3d Lenticular in case you don't know ( I had to look it up) is like those old hologram stickers or trading cards, that look like certain parts of the picture has been pushed back.

For this set, although it was relatively open ended, we did have a few guidelines to follow & witches were one of the subjects listed. So this is my version of a witch. Instead of having a broom wielding dark vixen, I decided to have a more realistic approach. real witches perform rituals, chanting & blood sacrifices to the energies they wish to summon....so thats what I was going for...but I had to keep her sexy, because that's typically what's desired for projects like these. Was thinking of submitting this one to a contest, but wasn't sure.

Fantasy Sketch cards Bloody Vamp

Hello everyone, Sorry that I've been MIA for a while. I've actually been drawing, its just that I can't release the images until the card company says so.

I've recently completed a set of 40 sketch cards for a fantasy set. The set will be released all over, but primarily in the U.K. as that is where the card company is based. I've just been given permission to show these so that is what I will be posting for the next few weeks.

( For those of you who aren't familiar with sketch cards they are miniature 2.5x3.5 original artworks, created to be inserted in packs of trading cards as an incentive, or a special prize for collectors. The quantities of these sketch cards are limited so they are rare and are often sought after by art collectors & trading card collectors alike. If you remember back in the day of baseball cards, they would sometimes put a prize in the packs. The prizes would vary Maybe it was a sticker, or a foil card, or even a 3d card, and this is along the same lines, however they are more unique and rare because they are originals done by several artists specifically for the set.)

I have to warn you, this isn't the best work I've done due to the card stock that was used for the set. The stock itself was very nice looking, but the surface was very waxy & it was akin to drawing on wax paper or transparency sheets. My markers ( copics) would just puddle up on the surface & my inking pens would take FOREVER to dry. The card company ( Unstoppable Cards)was very understanding & let me know in advance that the stock would be a challenge. So what can you do, just roll with the punches.

I'll be posting the individuals that I liked the best, and at the end I'll post the full sheets so that way they'll all be here. I just didn't want to post every single card individually, but if anyone would like to see one in particular just email or comment. So without further ado here is my bloody vamp.

Heads Up - Z-Sketch Card - "worlds of fantasy" series

Here is the 6th of 20 z-sketch cards going to be featured in the " Worlds Of Fantasy" trading card set that will be sold at New York comicon. I'm doing a total of twenty sketch cards & one base card. I have to wait for approval before I post them, So I've been approved to post the first 10. The interesting thing about these cards is that they unfold to display a larger sketch. They are called z-sketch cards. so on the upper right hand corner is the front of the card & the lower left hand corner is the back with the signature. The rest of it folds up like a map. I've included two pics, one is just the card front & the other is the entire sketch, unfolded.

I used copic multiliners & markers for the majority of these cards.
