Custom Converse!

For throw back Thursday I wanted to post something a little different. Many of you may not know that I used to customize chuck Taylor's as more of a hobby. I TRIED to sell them for profit, however the work involved in creating them & making sure the design held up over time, was far too costly and would drive the cost of the shoes above what people wanted to pay. So I ended up just keeping them, or doing them for friends. 

I used paint, markers, sealers & any thing else that worked. I used non toxic sealer for the baby shoes.

The top pair I kept, & the bottom pair was for my friends daughter.

Figured I'd post up this little spider man Sketch card for sale here first before I throw him on Ebay.

First time doing a spiderman one....

Oh yeah... Happy commercialized, show me how much you love me by spending exorbitant amounts of money on something that is in nature free day.... Whoops I mean ...Valentines Day!

On the other hand however, I'm sure the majority of flower shops earnings are generated from valentines day, and since floral arrangement can be considered an art form, I'm not 100% against it. I'll support almost anything that has to do with art.... I'd prefer it to be smaller businesses though, as opposed to large companies that really don't give a crap about the artistic side of it... They just throw your flowers in a box & tell you to do it yourself.. Lol.

Little Mo

A little monster for you. Did this guy on 8.5x11 gray card stock. Used pencil ( 4h, hb, f, 2b, 6b) white & pink prismacolor pencil & gel pen. I like him because he's cute & fat, but his face is still creepy.
