Goblin sketch card for The Hobbit trading card set.

One of my favorite things about drawing stuff for the Hobbit trading card set, was all the monsters...

2.5x3.5 inches- pack inserted.

Copics,colored pencil, paint.

Jessie - walking dead the comic sketch card for the trading card set.

Here's the last sketch card that I did for The Walking a Dead the comic trading card set - it's Jessie as she's being swarmed on, right before rick has to chop off her hand to save carl. This part of the book was awesome. Great writing.

2.5x3.5 inches - copic markers & acrylic inks on official stock.

The Walking Dead Comic Book sketch card art Lori & the twins.

Yes... MORE walking dead the comic book sketch card art that I was contracted to do for the official trading card set.

The first card is Lori Grimes, I hated her in the comic, hated her even more in the show...what else can I say, but I did over 80 pieces, so I had to draw her a couple of times because she was a main figure.

The 2nd card is the twins - not main characters but I thought they were very integral to the development of carl as a character, and I was sad to see them omitted from the TV show.

How carl took it upon himself to deal with the "evil twin" just solidified carls acceptance of the world he lived in & showed his lack of concern with taking a human life, when it came to survival. He did what he must, not because he wanted to, but for the good of the group, much like his father.

This event also brought a shocking realization to rick as to what his son was becoming....

If you haven't read the comics, it's a must. There are scores of events left out of the show that develop the characters far beyond that of the tv adaptation. The events that are identical to the show tend to unfold in different ways so it's not boring to read, even if your a fan of the show.

A couple of contemporary pinups puzzle jam cards!!!

Here's a couple of my contemporary pinups puzzle jam cards for the already released set. The first one was before the other half was completed by Steve lydic, and the other card is a fully completed jam card by the both of us.

It's interesting to see how in the first one I was going with a realistic/comic style , and in the 2nd one I was influenced by Steve's style. I think it's more aesthetically pleasing if the styles don't contrast too much...

The 2nd one sold for $80 or $90 I think & I never saw the first one pop up anywhere...

Rick Grimes sketch cards for "The Walking Dead The Comic Book"

Heres a couple more of My Walking Dead sketch cards for the comic series trading card set. These are of Rick Grimes the main character, who , in my opinion, is much more of a badass in the comic than he is on the show. To me he comes off as a little whiney on the show... but thats just my two cents.

copic markers, acrylic inks.

"Axel" artwork for The Walking Dead Comic Book Trading Card Set

Danny Here, Fans of the show would know axel as the skinny ginger dude with a big mustache who's short lived career on the walking dead show was almost pointless. In the comic book however, he was a fat, balding and bearded biker dude who also was one of the prisoners who greeted the gang upon their arrival at the prison. He was with the group much longer and played a larger part. Anyway, heres one of my sketch cards of him for the walking dead set!
